Electrical engineering is the Study, design and application of equipment and systems which us electricity. electronics and electromagnetism. 

Electromagnetism = Is the interaction of electric currents or field currents or field and magnetic fields.  

One Example:  Flashlight 

A flashlight is basically a min circuit.
