LES MISERABLES

CHAPTER 3

My first impression is that the bishop was different. The bishop did not pretend to understand a person situation and give them a impossible task. He seen much of the world and how the towns cared about there children education. Its about the hard life that a bishop has.

CHAPTER 4

The bishop has a strong reaction on the death penalty it was that this was terrifying. The bishop was a strong man by being there for the man it takes courage to be there. The bishop realized it was that this penalty was extremes and anyone who watched would be scared after. I feel the death penalty is scariest  those who watch it and who are the victims of it.

CHAPTER 8

How could the pope let someone talk to him like that. The drunk man must be crazy but what's even crazier is that the pope did noting about it .

CHAPTER 10

The bishop couldn't visit the old man. why? but after he hears he's dying. but the man says he's going to die in 3 hours. The bishop thought the man was a humble person or wanted a blessing. The bishop had his heart on this one. He just couldn't let go of what he did. The bishop was in a give inn take with this man. But it was that they were listening to each other instead of arguing. The bishop realized that they weren't so different after all.

CHAPTER 14

The bishop lived in a way he thought he should live. He had sympathy. The author used the bishop as a way to express his voice. To the author the bishop was his microphone. The bishop didn't questions things he just accepted them. But then he thinks about what he can do to help. The bishop was a respected and reasonable character.

BOOK TWO: CHAPTER 1

A mysterious man enters. He had a long beard and short nappy hair and a stick. He also looked very dirty. The towns people gave him nasty looks a stayed away from him. Others eyed him and where he was going. He was seemed to have walked for a very long time. The inn refused to serve him because he was a criminal.

But the bishop accepted him and tells the lady to make him a bed. Jean Valjean was excided and happy that he will be able to sleep on a bed. The bishop gave him food a place to sleep and some where warm.
