So when I gave my Ignite speech I was super nervous. Im good at giving speeches in front of big crowd or in general. But Mr. Preston said that its okay to nervous and anxious. It's common for people to feel like that. Which I helped me. But also I was amazed on how confident some of the others were. Like gabby she spoke with confidant and little stutter Awesome. Also Narciso he had all things he wanted to say ready. He came prepared and said what he needed to say. Even Gitzel she was the first one up. Even though she was nervous like me she did good. She got all of her main points out there. In all I think everyone did good.

Journals ( Mon 17th - Sun 23th )
Q: What's on your mind today?
A: Well there's not much. My master piece is really all I think about now. Im in a pickle on How I want the emperor to look . Also how I want each character to act and what personality to give them. Also I need to figure out on how to inquorate the north and south war in the story. I want this war in there because it one of my favorites. I like the history behind this war. But I also need to choose what dishes I want to be the main meal of the story. The story changed a little bit but not a lot. This just means it will take longer to finish writing the book.
Q: How do you know you have truly completed something?
A: Well when it comes to chores usually if I am done and my mom dose not yell at me the that means I did a good job and I am done. My mother is very picky on how something is done or put away. I guess you can say she has OCD. But When It comes to my work I am always second judging my work. So I guess when I feel like something is done when I feel satisficed. But For me to feel satisficed I would have to keep redo it. I expect more out of my self so if I am not happy with something I will keep doing it until I like it.
Q: What insight would you give someone wanting to join open source learning academy in 2021-22?
A: For starters this class is supposed to be fun. You are supposed to enjoy the work you do. But I would also say that this class like an honors system. The teacher trust that you do your work. That you are writing in your journals and that you are working on your masterpiece. This class takes courage because we still are in the begin stages of this program. There's not much data on this class and how much it will help you. But I don't know that Mr. Preston will do his best to help you achieve your goal.
Keeping an open mind
So today in class we talk all lot about different things. Mostly it was about Mr. Preston. We got to know a lot about him. But one thing that caught my eye was regret. The teacher said something along the lines of now that's its the end of the school year you really starts to finish things up. You don't want to limit your creativity. Because you don't want to look back that this time and say oh I could've done this or that. When the teacher said that it really stuck with me. Because I do not want to start something and not finish it. So what I got today was encouragement to finish what I started no matter how long it takes me because. Success doesn't happen over night. It is nurtured and worked for. So when I am done I can have that feeling like yes I did this. That what I want to feel like when I done with my masterpiece.

Building the perfect beast
So sense my book has to do with princes. They must get some sort of education. So what I am planning to do is connect my PPC with the boys education. That way I can set the PPC and also give them some sort of education.

Processing The Masterpiece
So I wanted to document my process on my masterpiece. On here I will be talking about the plot of the story, Characters and there back stories, and just many more.
The story will take place in the Joseon dynasty. I'm not going to be using the original names of any of the royal family or nobles there. This is manly due to the fact that I do not want to disrespect or slander any one.
But now that we got out of the way. Sense there was many emperors in the Joseon era so I am going to choose a time era that I would like the best. The Joseon era starts in the 1300s and ends in the early 1900s. There's two way this could go. I could make it more modern and go with the 1900s or I can make it more historic and go for one the earlier time eras.
I think I am actually going to just make up the kingdom. I really wanted to do something with royals anyway. So i was thinking I could just take traits from the Joseon era and use them as a reference.
As of today I posted the prologue and is going to publish chapter one today.

Yeah, I Know
So today I have received some interesting feedback. When I explain the plot to carline had expressed that It maybe get a little complicated for the readers. Which I something I agree with her on so I decide I will slowly make introduce each character. I really want to make sure that everyone enjoys this so I will take my time writing each chapter. I want to make sure everyone get what's going on.
Another piece of information I received how am I going to incorporate Korean culture into the story. Sense its not gong to have a pacific time line. So what I will do is take traits from certain members of the royal family. And incorporate them into the story.
End Game
So the first thing I plan to do is make a page on my blog where I will post the chapters of the story. From there I will be able to update when I want to. Also it was the only place I could think of. But then I do plan on making a post about all the characters in the story. It will have pictures ( art drawings ) on how I want them to look and some other information about them. It will also plan to have a feed back post on which the people who read the story can leave there feed back on what they think about the story.
So from here on out I will be Publishing 1-2 Chapters every week. This Is so I don't get behind on any other school work In need to do for school. I already have the prologue up on the story and hopefully I can get chapter 1 up today. The page is called Daughter of the Cursed emperor. Over the weekend I will start making the post with the characters and there info.
I'm not to sure on how far I want to go with this story. But as of right now it is my man focus. I hope I can do well with this story and that everyone will enjoy it.

Currency for Paying Attention
Day 1
- We counted how many time the people in the white passed the basketball.
- There were some people who were so focus on the passed that they didn't see the gorilla.
